PAINTING TIPS

APPROXIMATE COVERAGE

2.5 Litre Tin - 30 square meters

5 Lire Tim - 60 square meters

One or two coats are typically required depending on pre-existing colour and chosen shade.

PREPARATION

Remove any loose and flaking material then fill holes and cracks with an appropriate filler.

Glossy surfaces should be sanded to provide a smooth finish.

APPLICATION

Stir well before use. Always check a small area first as we cannot accept any responsibility for colour discrepancy that may arise after use.

Apply one or more coats as required using a paintbrush, paint pad or roller. Avoid spreading the paint too thinly and avoid reworking areas that are still wet.

An extra coat may be required to cover strong or contrasting colours. Do not apply in damp or cold conditions below 10°C.

FINISHING UP

Touch dry in 1-2 hours. Recoatable in 2-4 hours.

Replace lid firmly to ensure an airtight seal. Remove as much paint as possible from decorating tools before cleaning in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Do not empty surplus paint into drains and watercourses - most local authorities will have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings and paint, contact them for details.
